RE-DIRECTION Project Pioneers Digital Transformation and Inclusivity in Higher Education Across Europe

The international project RE-DIRECTION, launched in 2024, aims to rethink higher education in the digital context by promoting collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable approaches based on EU best practices and policy recommendations. It brings together 13 universities from Ukraine (including Dnipro University of Technology), Georgia, Germany, and Greece, as well as two ministries and an international consulting company.

To date, a detailed analysis of digital transformation, sustainability, and inclusivity in higher education institutions in Ukraine and Georgia has been conducted. Key challenges have been identified, and recommendations have been provided to align educational practices with labor market demands and foster a more inclusive and sustainable

educational environment. A methodological framework has been developed based on research and analysis of current trends, social skill needs, and best practices to identify gaps and inefficiencies in educational programs.

These achievements lay a solid foundation for further work on updating curricula, implementing innovative teaching methods, and developing policy recommendations to improve higher education in Ukraine and globally.
